Katsuura Sakura Matsuri

Two kilometers of cherry trees line the river in the town of Katsuura in eastern Tokushima. The town hosts a cherry blossom festival from late March to early April, when the trees are in bloom. Activities during the festival include boat trips along the river and trolley rides under the blossoms for children. The cherry blossoms are illuminated at night during the festival.
