A modern art museum, designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa, is located in Hijiyama Park which is famous for cherry blossoms. Mainly, it shows Hiroshima-related modern arts after the Second World War and fine art works by potential young artists. This museum offers a shop, studio, cafe, and video corner as well as an exhibition room for its visitors.
