Under the direction of Hideie Ukita, Okayama Castle was completed in 1597. As the exterior is colored in black, the castle came to be known as the Crow Castle (Ujo). Although the main castle was destroyed due to air raids in 1945, rebuilt in 1966. Inside the castle, you can see the exhibition of the castle owner, you can dress like a lord or princess, and join a workshop for clay kneading at the Bizenyaki ware studio.
