Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

This museum not only acts as a collection and exhibition of photographs showcasing the devastation of the atomic bomb on the city and the victims it affected, but also shows the progress that was made in Hiroshima City after the atomic bomb was dropped. It consists of the main building (Important Cultural Property), and the east building. Currently the main building is closed for renovation, it is scheduled to re open in spring of 2019.
